    Swazy Styles Interview

Miami-based rapper Swazy Styles is on TiK ToK fire with his new single “Twerk 4 Me.” The Bronx, NY native has had a string of club records spark up South Florida over the years, along with features from Rick Ross, Little John, Gunplay, and more. However, this latest record is making a major impact and the fan videos are pouring in.

When it comes to the success of the song, Swazy Says, “I’m bringing the fun back to music. I’m enjoying this music and I spread love to the people.”

Read more below and follow Swazy on socials:

    All Platforms: @swazystyles / TiK ToK: @iamswazystyles

Where are you from originally? Where are you located now?

I’m from The Bronx, NY and I’m in Miami, FL.

How did you get your start in music?

    Freestylin’.

How would you describe your sound?

    Fun metaphoric punchlines.

Which songs are you most known for?

“Birthday Suit”, “Standing on Couches” and “Twerk 4 Me.”

What music did you like growing up? Who are you currently listening to?

Hip hop. Currently I’m not really liking the new music in hip-hop, so I’m still listening to what I like: Drake, Jay Z, Jadakiss, The Lox, Future, Jeezy, Ross.

What are the most important things you want to let fans know about right now?

Artistry has changed so much and it’s continuously evolving. It’s become more of a skit/trending type of industry. Talent and skills for songwriting are not the only thing that’s working for artists right now — it’s more of your social media presence, acting, etc. A lot of artists are doing a lot of unnecessary drugs, shooting, violence — the fun and music has gone out the window. It’s more of who can act crazy — as in who could do the craziest things on social media. However, I’m bringing the fun back to music. I’m enjoying this music and I spread love to the people.

Do you have any collaborations and/or have you performed with any known artists/producers?

Yes I have collaborations with Little John, Rick Ross, Gunplay, Justin Bieber, Qwote and I’m also working with producers such as Dee Roc from Cash Money and CP Hollywood and DJ C Money.

What do you love most about making music?

I love the fact that you can hear an infectious tune and create a hook and lyrics. I love to create from scratch. I love the whole process of making music from beginning to end — getting the record mixed mastered and then banging it in the studio once it’s complete gives me the chills and makes me excited. Watching people dance to my music and hearing it on the radio is a whole other element.

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

I see myself as being more successful than I am now. Although I am currently successful, more success is to come because my work ethic, skills, and abilities are incredible. I’ll never stop creating and hustling, doing what I gotta do to enjoy life and feed the family.

Is there anything else you want to mention before we go?

You can expect more greatness from Swazy Styles. Follow me on all social media outlets. The new “Twerk 4 Me” video is out now. New music is on the way. Stay blessed. Stay up. Stay safe and stay Corona-free. Peace.
