Hip Hop artist Jacoby X announces his debut children’s book ‘The Words I Speak I See’ to combat negative views about mental health

Jacoby Antonio Browder, better known as Jacoby X, is a musical artist, entrepreneur, and educator from Birmingham, Alabama whose passion for literature and working with children with special needs led him to authoring his first book. ‘The Words I Speak I See’ is a story of a troubled young boy who battles with finding his purpose in the world and the transformation that comes with realizing he’s in more control than he thought.

As a mental health advocate, Jacoby wanted to change the stigma around mental illness, especially when it comes to the youth. His book aims to show what can happen when a person realizes that the words they speak can have an impact on the reality around them. For the protagonist of the story, he had to combat his yearning for love and understanding from those around him to loving and understanding himself and Jacoby hopes that readers can come to a similar conclusion of knowing they possess what is needed to live the life they want.

Jacoby X’s grandmother was an early inspiration in him becoming an author as she often had him and his cousins read and write book reports. She even gave him bigger confirmation to write his book by sharing a message from God that he needed to take his own words seriously and from that point he started to write what would be ‘The Words I Speak I See’. His efforts are going beyond just writing the book as he plans to provide a portion of his proceeds to mental health and autism programs in hopes to provide more resources for their social and educational needs. His goal is to make mental health awareness more of a priority in the world and less taboo to discuss as many people deal with their own emotional struggles just like the character in the book.

‘The Words I Speak I See’ is available for preorder at https://authorjbrowder.com.

Zaytoven has announced the release of a new track with rapper and producer, Belly, The Weeknd, and Young Thug called “Better Believe” tonight at midnight.

The song begins with a crooning Weeknd on the hook followed by Belly rapping a strong first verse discussing his success in the music industry. He is then joined by Young Thug on the second verse with dynamic bars that follow The Weeknd’s lead on his catchy hook about rising to the top. The song will be available on all platforms.

“the music game is about crazy combos and we just put together the craziest”. The song can be described as magical melodies mixed with heavy weight verses. This is a certified hit, BETTER BELIEVE”.

Zaytoven

His name alone sets the tone for who he is, what he does, and the magnitude of his skill set. Super-producer Xavier “Zaytoven” Dotson copped his name from the German composer and pianist, Ludwig van Beethoven, because of the many similarities the two musicians share. Both were born in Germany, both mastered the organ and piano at a young age, both boast a genuine interest in music, and most notably possessed the same foresight to align themselves with key people who could help further their careers. For Beethoven it was the dignitaries of Vienna, for Zaytoven it was Gucci Mane, king of the streets of East Atlanta.

Zaytoven is the epitome of a multi-layered musical genius. He has been on his grind behind closed doors for over a decade. Not only has he mastered playing the guitar, drums, organ and piano by ear, but he is also a gifted producer, songwriter and performer. The man behind the magic can even be considered an instrument himself, expressing his passion and poetry through keys, strings, and drumheads. While he wears many hats, he wears them all well, constantly re-inventing himself and his sound to become a crucial force in the entertainment industry.

Belly is a distinguished rapper, singer/songwriter, and producer who has drawn from the cultural displacement, poverty, and hustling he endured as a Palestinian-Jordanian immigrant living in Canada. The Juno Award winning rapper has joint deals with Roc Nation and XO Records, a Canadian record label co-founded by The Weeknd. Born Ahmad Balshe in the West Bank Palestinian city of Jenin, Belly moved with his family to Ottawa, Ontario, to escape violence and poverty. Having long been interested in hip hop, he began using rap as a catharsis and soon garnered a reputation as a formidable MC.

The Weeknd was dubbed the songbird of his generation. He rose above other fellow newcomers with his rich expertise in music. Born Abel Tesfaye in Scarborough, Ontario on February 16, 1990, he grew up listening to a variety of music genres, including soul, quiet storm, hip hop, funk, indie rock, and post-punk. He dropped out of high school at 17 and “left one weekend and never came home” with some of his friends. It was where his moniker came out. It was supposed to be The Weekend but got altered to avoid copyright issue with a Canadian band of the same name.

He broke into the music scene with the 2011 mixtape “House of Balloons”. He went on to work with Drake, Wiz Khalifa, Future, and others, while building his own career as an artist. In 2015, The Weeknd enjoyed huge success with the Grammy-winning album “Beauty Behind the Madness”, which boasted the hit single “Can’t Feel My Face”. His follow-up album, “Starboy” (2016), also won a Grammy and featured collaborations with artists such as Daft Punk.

Young Thug was born amongst the masses eliminating any doubt that he wouldn’t be special. The second youngest child of 11 children developed a skill for standing out amongst many, early. He moved to Jonesboro, an impoverished suburb of Georgia where his lifestyle was engrossed by the crime, drug addiction and violence that surrounded him. It was there that he developed an insatiable appetite to succeed his current situation.

After discovering and acknowledging his talent and creativity for music, Thug started a new hustle that would soon mature as one of the most promising music careers in the South. Eyeballing the thrown of Hip hop royalty, Young Thug began to create a sound and style that would inevitably place him on top. Young Thug is the representative for a generation that doesn’t see hip-hop as a hobby but a lifestyle. Keeping true to himself, his art, and his home.

Chicago Rapper Grindin Pun Releases New Song with Zaytoven

Fresh off the release of his single featuring Ne-Yo, Grindin Pun has released “Love Me Not” with Grammy award-winning producer, Zaytoven.

The song is a testament to dating in 2021, and how people might not be who they appear to be. With a creative delivery over Zaytoven’s dreamy and bass heavy production, “Love Me Not” explores what goes through a man’s mind when he feels his love interest is untrustworthy.

Allen “Grindin Pun” Lane was born on January 26, 1990, on the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. He was raised in the Henry Horner Projects, just blocks away from the United Center, home to the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Blackhawks. Being raised near the United Center opened Pun’s eyes to expensive homes and condos, luxurious cars, high-end fashion, and expensive jewelry. Although only nine-years-old when he first discovered he was a talented lyricist, Pun knew that he would one day live the of the rich and famous on his terms.

In early 2001, at the age of eleven, Pun and three of his cousins formed the rap group, S.W.A.T. In 2006, as new members joined the group and became intrigued by Pun’s cool, yet sly demeanor, the name of the group was changed to Chi-Town Shysters, with Pun serving as its leader. Upon entering high school, the group sought out ways to make money to finance their careers, which they believed could catapult the group to a new level. Some got jobs and others locked into the streets to make money. Now with more capital, the group was able to make an impact on the local underground rap scene.

In January 2007, the Chi-Town Shysters were featured on Fox News Chicago for their accomplishments, with the exposure opening many lucrative doors that allowed them to become more regionally known. Capitalizing on the exposure, Pun has made countless business endeavors, has repeatedly appeared on public access television, has been featured on 28 mixtapes, and has released 5 solo albums.

In 2015, Pun left the dangerous streets of Chicago for Phoenix, Arizona, where he was blessed to be in the presence of Les Paul Rogue, a music sensation who once performed with Kool and the Gang, Billy Paul, and Sister Sledge. While in Arizona, Pun continued to work on his music, producing “Pills and Patron”, which quickly became Pun’s highest viewed video, with a combined 2+ million views. Pun would go on to produce for videos and perform on stages across the West Coast. But in December 2020, after realizing that Arizona was not a good fit for his advancing music career, Pun picked up and moved to Atlanta, Georgia.

Since moving to Atlanta, Pun has worked with in-house producer Shaun Heard, with the two of them creating a number of hit songs, including “Fine Wine”, that caught the interest of three-time Grammy award winning recording artist, Ne-Yo. He would go on to host “Fine Wine” releasing it as the number one song on his unsigned artist playlist. Following the release of the Ne-Yo project, Pun received a message from Zaytoven, which led to him getting production from him and creating “Love Me Not”.

“It’s a blessing to be able to work with someone we grew up listening to. Zay was just as famous to us as the artists that rapped on his beats. I am anxious to see the type of response and growth this song generates. I feel great about it and [feel] like it’s perfect timing”.

Getting to know New Jersey artist Blaze Gotti

Blaze Gotti never really had an interest in becoming a rapper, but after losing some friends to the system, he found music to be the perfect outlet. What better way to express what was going on around him than to rap and lay it all down for others to relate to? It’s this type of authenticity that has Blaze Gotti going from an unknown rapper out of East Orange, New Jersey to a prominent household name.

Watch “Dirt McGirt” official music video:

Growing up in the Tri-State area, Blaze Gotti, whose birth name is Joshua Daniels, was always surrounded by rappers, and remembers his friends owning full studio equipment and recording in their closets at the age of 14. Still, Blaze was more intrigued by the way rappers made their money than actually becoming a rapper himself. It was when his counterparts started to get locked up that he felt more inspired to take the craft seriously. The emotions he experienced while this was happening were best dealt with through writing music. He got his final push to rap after receiving a letter from his friend Bill, who was away at prison, that made it clear for Blaze Gotti to keep it raw and real.

In his six years of creating music, Blaze Gotti has built a solid collection of singles and projects that holds one common theme; to motivate. Gotti’s music is all about getting back to it, which is evident in his most recent single “Twin” and his full-length mixtape BGotti Wav3 hosted by Curtis Snow.
