North Florida is going up and pulling rank hard in the Hip-Hop industry with rapper ‘Big Trappa’!

We are loving the visual and song ‘Underrated’ off his latest project ‘Blood Sweat and Tears’. Big Trappa is already a GOAT in his city, who is behind him and in full support of his movement. Everyday artists go the extra mile to prove who is the hardest, or who is dropping the best music. Trappa is preaching both, and in the short time he’s been in the industry his city is already in full support of him. The ‘Where You Been At’ rapper keeps it 100 on everything he raps and stands for. Check out the visual below and go download his mixtape out now on all platforms! Follow him on Instagram Big Trappa

Rapper Quette.D Talks 1 on 1 with Atlanta Media Queen ‘Carisha The Diva’!

Quette.D has been quite busy in the industry grinding hard all summer. Many independent artists forget that it is a marathon and move too fast without accomplishing much of anything. Atlanta native Quette.D is the exact opposite. Taking the ‘text-book’ artist approach, he secured a DOPE feature with 1 of the hardest rappers to break out this summer, Gucci Mane’s newest rap weapon, Foogiano. Quette and Foogiano teamed up for his latest single ‘All In’ which is out now and going crazy on all platforms. Growing his fan base every day, and staying consistent with his music has helped the strategic artists to cover a lot of ground in the city. He also has a hot clothing line he recently dropped ‘Breadlyfe’ and is pushing his merch everywhere! As we are heading into the final quarter of the year in the music business, it is safe to say that Quette had a very productive summer, and we are looking forward to what is next to come from him. Washington DC native “K_Nemacis” releases dope new EP “Ball to I Fall”!!!

We at the blog pray that you’re all staying safe during these trying times in the world. Everyone has been impacted with what we have come to know as the ‘Coronavirus’ aka Covid-19. The virus began to hit the surface earlier this past January, and by April it’s now worldwide across the globe. Despite the world being at a complete stand still, it’s refreshing to see so many people staying positive and reaching out to others in need.  1 genre that seems to be growing and staying productive would have to be the music industry. Everyone is dropping major heat in the streets, and the labels are all on the look out for the next best thing. Several main-stream artists, have donated food, money, and essentials to the less fortunate. Thankfully we can keep you guys in the loop with the dopest indie artists making major waves on the scene. Our artist spotlight of the week is ‘K_Nemacis’.

This rising Hip-Hop star hails from Washington DC and is always grinding to push his sounds even farther. With 10 years plus working in the industry, and great new music out for his fans, he is definitely making things happen for himself. After chatting with us about his new project, we learned some very enlightening things about him. For 1, his main objectives are to perfect his craft and share his talent throughout the world. He just dropped a new EP “Ball to I Fall”, and we are loving it. The music has that up north swag, with hot punch lines and hard beats. Every song gives you something fresh for the streets. After listening I wasn’t sure rather I wanted to go hustle up a bag, or shoot a music video in Miami.  Make sure you check out “King Kong.”

  1. What was the overall idea behind the project?

My idea behind my new project was to give my fans something different with a new sound, but something everyone can relate to. Everyday life struggles, the good, the bad and the ugly. It doesn’t matter if u live in a mansion or the slums, we all have problems at the end of the day.

  1. Who is your biggest inspiration?

My biggest inspiration I would have to credit 5 people. 2pac and Biggie made me fall in love with Hip-Hop. Lil Wayne, once he dropped ‘The Carter’ it motivated me to start writing. I started writing poetry first. Then I heard Gucci Mane and Young Dolph. They’re whole style, and everything about them seemed so genuine!  They were the icing on the cake, and I been in the booth writing music ever since.

  1. Describe your music in 1 word?

“Dope!” Because one line will have you addicted. You betta duck because I’m coming with punch lines and metaphors.

  1. What is your favorite thing to do besides music and recording?

Besides music I love spending time with my daughter. That’s my heart. She is 9 years- old and she also started writing music… The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Check out the new music below and tell us what you think..

“Only get better as you continue, grind and work hard day by day” GMG Ant.

The new wave of pop-culture and emerging artists is cruising into the world one mixtape at a time and no doubt, Texas has been making some noise on the scene. Already known for birthing big names in ‘trill’ Hip-hop such as Yella Beezy, Meg Thee Stallion, and Trae Tha Truth the ‘Lone Star’ state isn’t just famous for Swishers, good steaks and BBQ. If you haven’t already made yourself familiar with ‘Get Money Gang’, it’s a music group of family and friends, with a gang of upcoming artists representing for the 817. We managed to steal a little 1 on 1 time with Fort Worth, Texas native GMG Ant, and we are really feeling his energy on the track. At 24 years-old he has a BIG appetite for music and has several successful projects already out with a new project on the way titled “Green Light”. His music features upbeat 808’s, a lot of play on the keys, and overall is a good party feel that is the perfect vibe for turning up or just something to bop to. In fact, when you need to get ‘lit’ and ready to get to a ‘bag’ turn on his track “Party Jumpin.” He credits Lil Baby , 21 Savage, Gucci Mane, and Hoodrich Pablo as his major inspirations. Real recognizes real, and Ant mentions that when Atlanta native ‘Lil Baby’ blew up on the scene just a few years ago he took notes and started taking his craft much more seriously. Being a fellow Texas native, earlier in his career he remembers being featured on the same mixtape as Megan Thee Stallion which he describes as ‘crazy’. GMG Ant also recently collabed with Atlanta native ‘Coca Vanga’, and says he plans on doing many more collaborative projects in the future, as well as hopefully starting his own label. Check out our exclusive 1 on 1 Q&A below and follow the links to some of his hardest music online including his profile on the dope new music streaming site  Zaytown Global from Zaytoven Beatz, Roland Williams and team.

Yes, but haven’t done to many performances lately, and I’m looking for management. I’ve just been pushing my music and networking.

  1. What’s the 1 thing you can’t live without?

Food!!! I love to eat and money.

“I’m a laid back and chill kind of person which I want people to know by listening to my music. I make ‘get money’ music positive. Like ‘trap’ stay on ya shit, something I believe a lot of people would be able to relate to. Also, it’s based off real life experiences. I also got a different flow. like based off the beat is how my songs kind of go. I got good rhythm, none of my songs sound alike! I also see a lot of progress since I 1st started recording.”
